I've lost count of the days in my little self-quarantine, but in my isolation, I've been doing what I can to keep from going stir-crazy. To be honest, it isn't really hard, because there are so many things that I could look at to broaden my horizons. Add to that the fact that I am still on call for a commercial job, and I am really in a pretty good place right now, despite the situation on the outside.
Anyway, I decided I would get back into one of my passions when I was in college, and that's magic. Yes, the sleight-of-hand right in front of your face type of magic. I actually used to be pretty good at it, and I have been able to astound some of my dorm mates way back when. While I am thankful to be able to do what I love as a job, other commitments in life has led me to let my interest in magic fall a little by the wayside. Well, I can't think of a better time to get back into it.
I found that I had forgotten so many of my favorite tricks that I made up my mind to at least re-learn some of them, so that I can recapture the wonder that it had brought to my younger self.
